# Lost Password

POST https://localhost:8090//auth/lostPassword
Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded

Initiates the password reset process for a user account.

This endpoint accepts a user identifier (such as email or username) and sends a password reset link or token to the registered email address.  

Use this endpoint when a user forgets their password and needs to reset it.
